Provides a leadership development opportunities, career development training, opportunities for earning job shadow experiences and summer jobs through school performance. The program serves high school students who have potential for graduating but have barriers to achieving that goal.

Albuquerque Hispano Chamber of Commerce (AHCC)

Provides Job Mentorships, one day job shadowing experiences for high school freshmen, paid and non paid internships, workforce development training in four high schools, transition program for high school students, literacy training in community centers and educational achievement support for elementary and middle school students.

Economic Forum, School-to-World

Provides students the connection of what they are learning in the classroom relates to their futures. School-to-World provides students, focus on eight graders, exposure to a variety of careers, educational opportunities and volunteer opportunities. School to World is held annually in March. Hispanic Association of Colleges and Universities

A national association of Hispanic Colleges and Universities that address specific issues of Hispanic students pursing a college degree. The organizations provides some internship opportunities for students.

Middle Rio Grande Business and Education Collaborative (MRGBEC)

Is the regional School-to-Work Intermediary which connects Business and Education for the Middle Rio Grande Corridor extending from Belen to Cochiti, Laguna to Moriarty. MRGBEC serves as the Youth Council and administrative entity under the federal Workforce Investment Act. MRGBEC also has: Industry Alliances; Educator in the Work Place-provides educators from multi-day job shadow experiences to paid summer internships in local businesses; and Pathfinder a web-based connecting tool for matching students with the appropriate work-based learning opportunity specific to their career interest.

Provides a sequential and integrated kindergarten through grade 12 programs, students use information, apply basic skills, think critically, and solve complex problems. Junior Achievement utilize business volunteers with an established curriculum to help students develop an understanding of business and economics.
